PPA
PPA projects poetic and contemporary spaces, elaborated in a multidisciplinary and specialized office.
A dedicated skilled team works with respect to the sustainability. This is a deep concerning referring to the specific budget, client and local culture and the laws on the elaboration of architectural, urban plans and landscaping projects.
From the first beginning, creativity is the focus of the projects. The design solutions equalize the assignment nature to the surrounded nature itself, from the planning until its execution, where consultants are intimately involved from the beginning of the design process.
Firm History
PPA was founded in 1987 by the architect Paulo Pontes and partners as a collaborative office practicing architecture.
The office gained renown through his architectural and cultural heritage works. During these formative years PPA also realized various large scale urban plans: Alcan master plan/Ouro Preto (1988), BH downtown/Belo Horizonte (1989) and Monumenta/Diamantina (2002).
